The Mars Volta - The Bedlam In Goliath
My most played album of the week, I don't know what it is but there is just something about TMV that just clicks with me. Also Ouroborous is probably one of the best TMV songs ever, OK. Eels - Beautiful Freak I've recently just rekindled my love for this band. I just really love how personal the whole album is, lo-fi indie at it's best. Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine This is definitely my favorite NIN album. After listening to albums like the Downward Spiral and Year Zero it's really nice to listen to an NIN album that's not about politics or drug addicition. This album is all about the music. PJ Harvey - White Chalk This is probably my favorite album the listen to in bed with all the lights turned off, it's just so damn relaxing. It's pretty therapeutic, no matter how bad of a mood I'm in, Grow Grow Grow will just wash all those bad vibes away. |

The Magic Posistion One of my favorite albums right now, it's chalk full of many great tracks, such as Augustine, Bluebells and the Magic Position. My other favorite album at the moment, one of Patrick's best. My favorite songs would be The Libertine, Tristan and the Railway House. Because I love Elliott Smith, and this is a great album, my favorites being Alphabet Town, The Biggest Lie, Satellite, and Clementine.

Black Bear- The Cinnamon Phase
A combination of mellow, electronica, and indie. At first listen (where I tend to just "skim it with my ears" so to speak), it wasn't really much to go by, just seemed like your average indie schmuck. For me, it's really the lyrics that captivate me, some of the things he says just make me go "sigh, that's nice". Favourite tracks: Black Bear, I Believe In Immediacy, Flicker Wings, Like Venice Patrick Wolf- Wind In The Wires I have this message board to blame / thank for this . I had given Patrick Wolf a tiny pathetic try about a year and a half ago and figured I'd just stick to my lovely Owen Pallett, which was a dumb thing to do because they sound nothing alike :/. I'm not going to bother describing this album because I'm pretty sure Crowquill has already bashed it into everyones head, haha. Favourite tracks- Ghost Song, Wind In The Wires, The Libertine Glenn Miller- The Best of Glenn Miller and his Orchestra I just suddenly found myself in the mood for swing music last week, so I looked around on last.fm to get a general idea of who sounded like what, and I decided to give this guy a try. It reminds me of really oldschool disney cartoons, haha. I really enjoy it, definitely not what I'm used to, but the kind of sound I've always sort of liked. Favourite tracks- Yes My Darling Daughter, Say 'Si Si', Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree

Ghost Song is probably my least favorite song on the album I think, but still an amzing album of course
