A hard(ish) day's work is over, I've got some booze in, a good night out beckons, so I'm just more in the mood for some good old, straight-up rock 'n' roll than anything else.

Incredible pop music, really. Miles ahead of the later Ben Folds Five releases, and most likely any of his new work (sorry!). It makes perfect use of a few stereotypes in music (the ba ba ba's, cussing).

Ki - Devin Townsend Project.... it's mellow it's tense it's varied, it's positive, it's dark... it's just about everything I look for in an album...

Ki is a pretty kick ass album though. And he was fantastic to see live.
