Default Most accurately rated artist

There are two words that undoubtedly play a role in here. Overrated and underrated. What about accurate rated bands
Here are 3 bands that I think are accurately rated

Van Halen This band should have been the largest areana act in the early 1980s and they were. They had the greatest guitar player of the 1980s and everyone (except maybe Yngwis Malmstreen) agreed at this point .

My bloody Valentine most people think that my bloody Valentine should be underrated but they’re not everyone who cares about pop-o-centric guitar music considers Loveless to be a modern classic. Loveless sold some thing like two hundred thousand copies . This seems like the right amount of people on earth who could care of swirling guitars

The black crows their first album sold five million copies with is the right number. Stoned people like this band, drunk people think they are ok and sober people disregarded the overwhelming majority of their catalogue

What bands do you think are accurately rated?

Van Halen? They are not even that good.
I never understood the appeal of that band.

I dont know, this is a bit confusing and a thing of debate as it depends upon the person nd very from person to person. This is a fact that Not all persons are going to agree on a single thing.

And people with a sense of history said 'Hey wait , didn't the Faces do this exact same thing 20 years earlier?'
