Protest The Hero's "Fortress" leaked today..Im listening to it right now. Im not paying that much attention because im doing homework but I'll give it good listen later. I lost interest in them over the last while but that takes nothing away from what a greatly talented band they are.

I've loving the new Meshuggah album; I definitely prefer it to Catch 33

New Meshuggah is pretty solid but the bedlam just slays hands down.

Isn't Atmosphere scheduled to release something at the end of the year?

Yeah, I mainly remember that because the album title is cool: When Life Gives you Lemons, You Paint that Shit Gold.

I can't wait for the new Mates of State, thanks for that, I had no idea.

What do you think of the new hot chip so far? Kind of...lackluster, no? Maybe it's just me?

I've been listening to it a lot. It's more of the same from them, I didn't think Warning was a masterpiece either but it had some fantastic songs on it. This one has at least 5...the first three plus One pure though and Hold on...

Oh and while we're on the subject, you need to download/hear Time to pretend by MGMT, I swear to God it sounds like the best song Mates of state never wrote...the rest of the album is forgettable, but that song...wow...Kids is pretty great too...maybe you better get the album...if you haven't already...

Funny you mention that, I just listened to MGMT on a whim the other day and really enjoyed it.

If YOU haven't already, you should check out thehypemachine blog and search for Hot Chip blog links - there are tons of free remixes available for some of the new songs. I've come across a few remixes of Shake a Fist that are much better than the original. There's also a few original album songs available, but most of them are promotional versions.
