Agreed. I have Transatlanticism and would like to dig a bit deeper as there are some good tracks on there.

Death Cab For Cutie
Washington indie-pop/rockers Death Cab For Cutie sound like a combination of Sunny Day Real Estate, Elliott Smith, and a mellow Built to Spill. Ben Gibbard's voice is like that of Elliott Smith, quiet and with a shy feel and lyrically he holds that articulate feel that Morrissey has, though hes slightly cheesy at times and more flowery. Backed by a slightly twinkly indie-pop sound, it maybe moody and at times corny enough to make you smile, but it's always honest. 1. A Movie Script Ending 2. I Was A Kaleidoscope 3. The Sound of Settling 4. Crooked Teeth 5. Photobooth 6. A Lack of Color 7. 405 (Acoustic) 8. Brothers On a Hotel Bed hxxp://www.mediafire.com/?5xxx3jtej0j |

Carissa's Wierd
Seattle alternative band Carissa's Wierd were formed by Mat Brooke and Jean Ghetto in 93. Their biggest influence were 80s bands like Joy Division and the Smiths, however they sounded nothing like them but held the same mood. Somber male/female vocal duets coupled with cliche but always honest lyrics and a melancholic sound. When Carissa's Wierd came out they were very unique and by Songs About Leaving they'd established themselves as a creative force in the northwest indie scene. However in 2003 they broke up, leaving behind an all too short discography. Members went on to form Band of Horses, Grand Archives, S and Sera Cahoone. 1. You Should Be Hated Here 2. Sofisticated Fuck Princess Please Leave Me Alone 3. So You Wanna Be a Superhero 4. All Apologies And Smiles, Yours Truly, Ugly Valentine 5. Ignorant Piece of Shit 6. Asleep (The Smiths) 7. Patrick Wolf
British singer/songwriter Patrick Wolf's influences are really all over the map, from Bjork, Nico and David Bowie all the way over to folk artists like Vashti Bunyan and Nick Drake he incorporates several elements into his music. Patrick Wolf said he never wanted to be pigeon holed, so i'm not going to try to. He's easily my second favorite artist and at times hes managed to tie for my first. 1. The Libertine 2. Tristan 3. Magpie 4. Ari's Song (Nico) 5. The Gypsy King 6. The Magic Position 7. A Boy Like Me hxxp://www.mediafire.com/?1fuxdgtjbmw |
