This is probably my favorite thread that you've done. Well that I have seen in my short time here. I really enjoy the compilations of bands that have such a large library it's hard to start or even getting to listen to something completly new.

Just to comment on The Magnetic Fields, this guys voice reminds me a lot of Johnny Cash. Especially on Papa was a Rodeo. It is a nice album. Nothing I am really really into. I don't really like the chick that sings on If You Don't Cry. I'm more of a fan of the guy's deep soothing voice heh.
