Default Mood Music

So, I'm sitting here at 2am listening to Timbaland and One Republic's "Apologize" and it reminds me of another time in my life when I listened to a song that sounded a lot like it. You know, with an awesome beat, deep tones of piano, and haunting lyrics but for the life of me I can't remember what it is. Its the kind of song that makes you feel good and bad at the same time. You can close your eyes and sing along because it touches that part of you that has lived that
song. Anyone else know that feeling? What song does that to you?

I think it's wrong that 'Apologize' is marketed Timbaland's song when all he does is groan over the top of it every so often.

Sure, he may have produced it but producers don't really put their names to songs.

Sounds like he's got too big for his boots.

yeah i agree but he did redo the song. there are differences but i doubt if the band performed the song for him, that they gave him the rights to do so.
