I dislike just about anyone who thinks that their genre clinging community and subculture has a better understanding of music than everyone else. As a prog fan I tried socializing with other prog fans, only to realise that most of them are just as arrogant and snobby as indie fans, metal fans, punk fans, jazz fans, classical fans and so on. |

No, it's a derogatory term I use for indie snobs. There are also metal f@gs, punk f@gs, prog f@gs and so on. Granted I never say those words. but usually because I use in it's place other terms that are equally disparaging.
