Default The Worst vs. The Best

Compare the worst genre you have ever heard with the best genre you have ever heard.

(I am a minimalist, so don't worry about going on a rant.

Best: Prog Rock
Reason: Lyrics, unique.
Example Bands: MUSE, TMV

Worst: Pop-Punk
Reason: I have had it with these mother****ing ***gots in this mother****ing industry.
Example Bands: xxxgenericxnamexxx

Best: Rap
Reason: Unique, turns out the best and worst
Examples: MF Doom, Aesop Rock, Rakim

Worst: Bubblegum Pop
Reason: No redeeming qualities
Examples: Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson

How can a genre be better than another? There is no best genre, but there are "favorite" genres. All genres are equally good and equally bad.
