I'm really not a fan of the term 'selling out'. I did use it a bit when I was in my early teens but as I got older I realised that the routes taken to make a song weren't important to me; all that mattered was the tune itself (or, in some cases, the lyrics).

I can understand that some people get attached to their favourite bands and almost feel betrayed when they decide to make music purely for financial gain but even when a band gets to that point there will be thousands of happy listeners.
