Once again: They say that for indie cred, but would they actually turn down a multi million dollar record deal? I'm not even a proghead anymore, and you've made a lot more stupid generilisations about prog musicians than I have indie one's.

Its funny how i'm talking about hardcore bands and you assume their indie even though i've stated over and over it's not. These bands have ethics and morals which they believe in. You can keep assuming you know everything about how people and musicians minds work but in reality you don't.

Listing bands that did not want to be famous is absolutely ridiculous. You do not know the specifics of what happened or why they didnt make it big. Theres no arguing that either, noone but them knows for sure.

It's not that hard to understand why they didn't make it big. They play/played inaccessible music and enjoyed it. I talk to several of those bands so I think i'd know more about whats going on with most of them then you or ProggyMan would.

ok...irrelevant. They still would've liked im sure to be more well known. yea some dont, but the vast majority would. its a little thing called human nature, and its not a bad thing. although maybe human nature is wrong and your right. you seem to think so

you seem to put wanting to sell record and be famous with selling out... not at all. thats called being human. you can stil be a great musician in it only for the music and stil want to be famous/sell records.
