Default Frankie Valli

Is doing a comeback. First album release since 92 - "Romancing the 60s." I don't have it yet but reviews have been good and I find old Four Seasons stuff a guilty pleasure anyway.

I should have grown up in that era anyway. I foresee some nostalgia emerging for the 60s anyway what with all the cool 60s inspired clothes and shows like "Madmen" doing well.

If anyone has it, speak up and give an opinion.

Default Frankie Valli?

Huh? Are you saying those are two songs on this Romancing the 60s cd? I don't recognize those names.

No they aren't on the new CD (at least I doubt they are), both the tunes are adopted Northern Soul favourites.
I think 'Are You Ready Now' was a hit in the UK in 1971.
And 'The Night' was a dark soul track played at Wigan Casino. Well worth tracking down for a listen.

Sorry, but my interest in Frankie Valli doesn't extend past these two songs and I know nothing about the new 'Romancing The 60's' album.

Not much consolation, but it's the best and probably the only response you'll get for a Frankie Valli thread on these forums.

Frankie Valli & The 4 Seasons - The Night.

Not to be mistaken for his, 'Oh What A Night'...which is crap.

Fabulous tune, wicked bass-line.

^ And this recent re-edited version of 'Beggin' by DJ Pilooski, off a Dirty Edits 12" on his Dark & Lovely label.
Recieved quite well on the Northern scene.
I liked this a lot.
And proof that Americans have no dance style.

Rag Doll is the best thing the 4 Seasons ever did.
