Still thought it was pretty great. Their re-imaging of I Want You; She's So Heavy is amazing and perfect. For those that don't know, they use the I Want You as coming from Uncle Sam referring to the draft, and She's So Heavy is the weight of liberty on their shoulders. The Statue of Liberty to be exact. And the choreography is tight.

I was not ready for a good film when I saw this because my grandmother wanted to watch it with me when she found out that I like The Beatles and she thought that the film was "inspiring." Glad I did end up watching for the great renditions of the songs and as Mrd00d said, the "I Want You; She's So Heavy" part of the film is great.

Great movie. I really loved the trippy art styles in that movie, as well as the choreography.

I really didn't like it but I don't think I was really the target audience. Some of the uses of songs were clever as well, as mentioned before about I Want You, but then again some songs like Strawberry Fields Forever made me cringe. It's 'whatever' for me. I don't plan on ever seeing it again.

Joe cockers appearance was the best part. Other than that it was a chick flick. But ya, a few good interpretations of some songs.

**** this film, **** the Beatles, and **** this goddamned, retarded notion that the 60s were anything other than a **** decade. Trite, predictable garbage - it's the typical Hollywood rendition of the 60s, set to ****ty music.

Never seen it, but I'm going to go agree with your opinion anyways as a Beatles listener.

Sounds like an over-produced "Let's go back to The 60's" thing Hollywood craps out every now and then.

it's like turning an episode of American Idol into a bloody movie with MTV visuals

the only thing passable about it is the "Strawberry Fields Forever" vignette
