I've been listening to more melodic hardcore and less indie so hence my vote.

The outcome so far is surprising.

If I listen to a KINKS album, I can hear certain easily attainable influences going on. If I listen to a Joy Division album, I can hear twice as many. I love both bands dearly though, don't take offence RT!
We'll agree to disagree?

The riff included the first distorted use of power chords known.
And provided a blueprint for metal, taking R&B to another level.

You don't have to convince me about Joy Division and this was a tough choice.
The 'You Really Got Me' track on The Kinks album beats any single Unknown Pleasures track for influence and that track alone made my mind up.

And if ethan ever matches these two again...I'll Kill him.

Fuck it. I'm voting Beck since I nominated that album in the first place.

You nearly changed my mind here!

YOU REALLY GOT ME still sounds phenomenal whenever you hear it.

Can I drop THE TROGGS WILD THING into the convo-fúck that was a track an' half!

Since MM is failing so horribly i'm changing my vote to the Kinks.

<3moderating abilities.

I'm also uploading something special in honor of this vote.
