Lawl, you can't tell me that a thrash metal band has nothing but theory on their minds when they write their songs. They might use theory, but clearly the ultimate goal is to musically represent anger.

Not everyone relies entirely on theory, and with metal being of a more primal nature, it is less likely still.

Why? All it means is that they were trained in or brought up with classical music. That doesn't automatically make you a 50 year old man with a high English accent. Chances are that if you play piano at an excelled level, you are classically trained. And if you're classically trained, chances are that you know more musical theory than the average musician.
