Underrated : Yellow Magic Orchestra.
Along with Giorgio Moroder and Kraftwerk, I think they were the most important electronic music artists at the end of the 70s/beginning of the 80s but i rarely see them quoted or talked about anywhere. Each of their 5 studio albums is great while being very different from each other. |

This video was played on one of the many Music shows way back in the day, I think it was called Rock World although it certainly played a more eclectic assortment that what you expected. Imagine a kid living in Small Dot, MI, pre-Cable (in fact cable did not come to the Small Dot I lived in until after I moved out), watching a show with an open mind on some hard to get station transmitting from Ann Arbor on UHF (to those young or living outside The US, the channels from 14 on up) and digging this! |

I'd like to challenge the idea that Radiohead are overrated (I'm not a big fan, but I do like some of their songs)
The majority of people I have spoken to about them seem to think that they're overrated, and surely if most people think they are overrated then that actually means they aren't overrated? |

i consider Radiohead overrated but for a good reason
For me it's one of those bands that are good but ppl make a big deal out of them and that simple fact makes you think they are bit overrated (at least in my case)
