LOL, if I was gonna stereotype metal there it is. Somebody else help me out here--is that a good metal band? If it is, metal and I have no future...

actually, most metalheads despise static-x. I can't possibly tell you why, because I like 'em.
EDIT: I don't think I'd even classify Static as metal, hard rock if anything, though that is debatable.

Likewise. The only interesting thing about that band is Wayne Static's hair. And only because it could probably kill any birds that happen to land in it, which still may or may not be worth paying admission to see.

The hate starts right from the moment you see the lead singer. That guy looks like a the king of douchebags. Then you realize the music is around the quality of what a douchebag might produce.

I've met Wayne twice and he's actually a really cool guy. Is it the hair that makes you think he's a douche? Cause it just makes me want a slim jim.
Anyway, V & F, check out this one. If you don't like this, you've no chance to ever find any enjoyment in Static-X.

i think the problem most people have with the band comes up when you try talking to a Tool fan who sees no other and hears no other real band out there besides Tool.
