That shirt is just screaming sex appeal.

Music and righteousness don't really work tbh.

Accept, yes, Respect, usually not, unless I can understand the reasoning and think it makes sense. Sometimes I read things on this site that make me reconsider my opinions.

I think that may be your problem.

Must I have just one?

Anyway, as for Bon Jovi, maybe the band is overrated, but it's not a cr*p band. The playing is good (especially the under-used David Bryan) and the writing is good (although I think "Blaze of Glory" probably is better than any of the band's songs). I just find the music boring after a while, due to lack of variety in the material.

Overrated: Blur (how these pseudo-ironic protohipsters got matched against Oasis, I'll never know) , The Flaming Lips, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater/The Mars Volta/prog in general, MGMT (same absurdly over the top production as Flaming Lips), All Heavy Metal, Keane, Michael Jackson (godfather of bland pop, style over substance), Prince, My Chemical Romance (Gerard Way, like all the worst Emo rockers, thinks he speaks to the pain of a generation. Well sorry, Gee, but your portentous, pretentious, tasteless, vaudevillian, overblown nonsense says nothing to me about my life), Primal Scream, The Rapture, The Gossip, Daft Punk, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains (mediocre metal band lucky enough to be from seattle during the grunge explosion) and, above all Rage Against The Machine (god, they suck)

Underrated: The Verve (criminally), Dredg (basically, Pink Floyd, but tuneful and with a real singer), The Jam (in America), Pavement (commercially), Dido (by critics), Dire Straits, Pulp (Blur, but good), Barenaked Ladies, Soundgarden, Joy Division, Outkast

This thread can only spread flame. Seriously, some people think that The Beatles, The Doors, Pink Floyd and Alice in Chains are overrated. I'd close it were I a mod, honest.

Well, good luck to ya. Once you can learn to respect someone's opinion, you'll see that it leads to a better discussion environment. You're not always right, neither is anybody else. Music is one of the most opinionated topics out there.
