you do realize that people are entitled to opinion right?
Trivia: Roxette's history does a VERY small Abba (make that Post-Abba) connection. Per Gessle wrote the music to "Threnody," set to the words of Dorothy Parker for Frida's Something Going On album (Producer: Phil Collins). I'm sure there's more, but that's my bit of useless info for now - and, yes, I bought it used for a Dollar, Cut Out.

Abba had some stellar moments (The Visitors, "The Day Before You Came," some of the early stuff like "Ring Ring" and "Waterloo") but closer inspection of their albums does side with those who cliam that they were over-rated. I don't think that many fans now have went into the full history beyond the Gold albums (still the essentials), let alone hearing the great few Early 80's moments that shocked a lot of their fans as being too dark. Still, Benny and Bjorn were great when they hit a class song. Plus, The B's before Abba wrote music for the Joe Sarno film The Seduction of Inga, which was pretty damn good for an Exploitation flick.

Then again I don't care much for The Beatles and they are with out a doubt considered the greatest band of all time. So what do I know?

i have Super Trouper, Arrival, The Album and The Visitors (i edited this by adding "The Day Before You Came") i also have Gold 2, where some of the minor hits are actually better than the major ones -"Our Last Summer", "Cassandra", "When I Kissed the Teacher"

ABBA were pretty much a big part of my childhood, as are the disco-era Bee Gees

my first actual puppy crush was on Agnetha - i am actually still turned on when I see her performing in tight spandex

The issue isn't what you like, it's why. How is Poison at least as good as Bon Jovi?

I also don't have a high opinion of the Beatles - and there are other people who agree with us on that, with reasons for that belief.

Pretty much regard both equally as bad. Poison is a generic showcase glam rock and roll band with cringe lyrics and an expected sound. Bon Jovi is bland pop rock with horribly uncreative pop lyrics and instrumentation you could fall asleep to in a rock n' roll class.

So why do I like Poison better than Bon Jovi? Hell if I know. I don't get that in depth with music.

Must be the lipstick. Honestly I can't stand either band but I think CC Deville had a couple solos I liked at one point.

It's also interesting to note that he apparently turned into a caveman at some point. I'm not sure if that effected his guitar playing or not.
