Here's my list for now...subject to change.
Under-Rated: Sean Bonniwell, Micheal Nesmith, Goblin Over-Rated: Nickelback (Mostly knowm for somgs that sound like Power Ballads put through a Meat Grinder sung by someone puking in the bathroom), Greatful Dead, Skrillex EDIT: Went back to the first page and found the words "that you listen to"...well, then, I will have to revise my Over-Rated list as I don't listen to those three regularly, but I do feel that they are seriously over-rated judging from the songs I heard so far. What Goofle's saying is that on the subject of whether or not Thom Yorke can sing, one person saying he can and one person saying he can't back and forth isn't automatically going to make one of those standpoints true as it's subjective.
If I said he was good more than someone said he's bad then that doesn't make me correct and vice versa. So, now you've aired your grievances about a subjective matter you can move on. |

On the topic of The Beatles that was mentioned earlier in the thread. I feel like that's one of those bands that is overrated but rightfully so. Could just be my opinion though, but I found a lot of satisfaction from listening to The Beatles for the first time even when I knew how much hype they created.

From what I saw someone expressed surprise that somebody could think in such a way and people gave reasons as to why they did. Nothing wrong with that.

On the topic of the Beatles, I think they've got some mind-blowingly good work, but on every single album it's mixed in with dopey worthless crap. I don't think they have a consistently great album, so I would agree that they are both overrated, but deserving.
