You shouldn't have made it so easy for him I wanted him to go to bed tonight and then spend the rest of the night tossing and turning, trying to work that comment out.

I often find myself defending U2 to people and I finally came to the realization that trying to defend U2 is an all day all night job, much like Radiohead. When your popular everyone was the first person to hate them and find them passe. I think I might of been the first person to despise Radiohead though, i bought Pablo Honey the day it came out and it is still in mint condition if anybody wants it let me know. |

I was only working within the parameters he set in his rhetorical statement. I wasn't making it out of the blue, I only took something he said meant to be a jab at Radiohead fans and turned it around to soften the blow in the gut of Radiohead fan. It wasn't meant to be an exclusive statement to insult all non-fans of Radiohead or meant to be extended to serious music listeners who are non-fans of Radiohead. I see it as a defense of Radiohead fans and not as an insult to non-fans of Radiohead. It all start out tongue in cheek anyway and I don't see the point it getting out of hand.
