That's your opinion. I disagree with it. He wasn't a bad frontman. Pretty good actually, but their music to me is that iof a novelty band like the Darkness, Weird Al or Goldie Lookin' Chain. No doubt inspirational to some, and very influential. But to me they are the most overrated band of all time.

I don't particularly like Queen either, but I don't see the comparison to Weird Al or Goldie Lookin' Chain. They weren't a comedy act.

Another One bites the Dust, I want to ride...., we are the champions, Flash, we will rock you : They are all tunes with showmanship / fun / novelty content.

Together with Brian May who I think is a horrendous embarrassment, it's just not serious enough for me to consider it as profound music.

Nothing wrong with a fun tune. But Queen are vastly overated.
