You want the first couple of albums.

They were shoegaze classics at the time but because of all that poppy rubbish later in their career they tend to get dismissed these days.

Just a list of some underrated ones in no particular order.
And I like The Boo Radleys :shycouch:

If you're gonna try and sell something I put to bed I'm gonna need 2 must hear albums. Apart from every Blur and Oasis album since I've heard them many times.

Don't really know where to start, I never thought I'd revisit Britpop again. :( old daemons being woke here.

The band who wrote the lyrics "Wake up it's a beautiful morning, wake up it's a beautiful day" were actually once good?! Wut.

^Exactly they were really good at one point.

As my highest-played and favorite band, I feel like I'm obligated to stick Brand New under the "most underrated" section of this thread. I would admit that they'd be rather ordinary if it wasn't for Lacey's brilliant lyrics. They're one of the few modern artists who've mastered Emo without sounding like the popularized overdramatic retards who pollute the genre. I've also got to credit them for the remarkable evolution from their first album to their second. Deja Entendu is one of my top albums ever.

The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me and Deja Entendu are two of the best albums I've ever heard. Daisy isn't too shabby, either.

Agreed. I'm still warming up to Daisy, though. I really hate that I can't find an official lyric sheet anywhere

I appreciate that they did something new, that's for sure. The best songs are where they're just letting loose.

Listen to "Sink". One hell of a song.
