I actually think it's their best song. I'd much rather listen to a catchy pop song that was written for a bit of fun rather than some cheesy rock anthem that's taken seriously by someone like Gene Simmons.

I don't think KISS take themselves seriously, at least not musically. I'm sure they take their pyrotechnics seriously though.

I don't know, listen to some of the older Kiss stuff, it's just plain garage band type rock and roll. Sure, the image is a little over the top but it got everyone's attention at the time. Check out "Detroit Rock City" or "Black Diamond", I can just hear these being played in a closed up, muted, garage down the street in Anywhere, USA during that era.

I do wish you'd learn to read between the lines Boo Boo.That was basically me trying to say 'At least that song doesn't involve that total c*nt Gene Simmons' in polite innofensive moderator speak.

Bright Eyes "From A Balance Beam"
Something Corporate "Konstantine" Brand New "The No Seatbelt Song" Death Cab For Cutie "Transatlanticism" Plain White Ts "Hey There Delilah" I guess those are the only ones I can think of that aren't super obvious. I'd also like to take this moment to say i'd gladly never hear anything from Backseat Goodbye, MC Lars and shit like Jacks Mannequin and Paramore ever again. |

The Used - "The Bird and the Worm"
My Chemical Romance - "Teenagers" Panic! at the Disco - the one about closing the god damn door. I can't remember the title. Weird Al - "White and Nerdy" (though you could you replace this with any other song by him, I hate them all.) can't think of another at the moment. |
