Doppelganger or S/t has to make that list somewhere, i'd say ghostships demos too, but thats just an EP so we can make for Phantom on the Horizon for that.

I'm working on re-doing the list right now, it won't reach 100 yet it'll be like at 70. So yeah everyone needs to get to suggesting once I post the new list.

Revised with a note at the end, its still in a very rough form though I know theres some inaccuracies the biggest one being its my personal opinion not the communities, but yeah see the bottom note.

Quick Thoughts:

*I love the inclusion of "Blackstar" (please keep it) it's a phenomenal album.
*I like the "Illmatic" Nas album, I;m not sure however if NWA's "Straight outta Compton" or Public Enemy's "It takes a Nation..." really hold up well. Listening to tracks from both are at times laughable with how corny they sound in todays context...I don't know I might be alone there.
*I feel that "Moondance" not "Astral Weeks" is the best Van Morrison album and would recommend you listen to both and decide for yourself.
*Not sure Woody Guthrie warrants the number 2 overall spot...but i defer to those who know the genre better.
*Sgt. Peppers is better then Abbey Road (personal Opinion)
*Please Consider the Yardbirds, Blind Faith, Cream and\or Derek & The Domino's for your top 100.
Blind Faith released a self titled album in 1965 I believe. It was Stevie Winwood, Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton. Amazing Blues Rock stuff.
Also the Yardbirds 1965 "Having a Rave up" Album featured tracks with both Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck on guitar though it's Beck who graces the cover. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ingaraveup.jpg This album features awesome versions of Howlin' Wolf's "Smokestack Lightning", Bo Diddley's "I'm a Man" and "Train kept a Rollin'"
*I am starting to believe that "The Velvet Underground and Nico" is truly the GREATEST album ever. Not sure why though.

OTHERS TO CONSIDER
The Cure "Disintegration"
Pink Floyd "The Wall"
Pink Floyd "Animals"
Pink Floyd "Darkside of the Moon"
Grateful Dead "American Beauty"
Neil Young "After The Goldrush"
Otis Redding "Dock of the Bay"
Rage Against The Machine, self titled
Elton John "Yellow Brick Road"
The Band, self titled
Nirvana "Nevermind"

Honestly DSOTM over most of the stuff on the list. Wish You Were Here>>>>>Animals/The Wall. Moving Pictures by Rush definately deserves recognition.
