How? I'm just so tired of boring, pompous, overdone, pretentious "art rock" from the 60s/70s getting so much praise. Once someone please explains me how an album based off one of the most overrated pieces of literate ever and countless boring symphonies created by an average bassist, two people who are no more talented then your average session musician and solos that are so mathematically precise that its sickening. Maybe i'll start giving them more credit when I hear something by them that isn't just generic prog, but so far thats all i'm hearing. But I guess you couldn't expect much from one of classic rocks finest.
And music aside who would you rather hang with? the beach boys or these pretentious stadium rock bitches? I rest my case. |

You lose. David Gilmour is a technically solid, very unique-sounding guitarist.
Money is far from generic prog, same as Wish You Were Here, and many others. Prog is too eclectic to really be generic. Edit: The Beach Boy's lyrics are such trash early on lol.

And gee, all you can bash about the Beach Boys is there lyrics. Major flaws there, especially coming from an elementary schooler who has no idea what a metaphor actually is. But hey, least you got dictionary.com |

Plastic Ono Band & Imagine > everything Clapton has ever done, solo or non-solo.
