I do agree it's almost weird for the sake of being weird and pretty masturbatory, but I still like it. It definitely came as a shock when it came out, and took some time to get used to but it's a fun listen once in a while...and quite funny. But no doubt I prefer the debut, and I don't consider Disco Volante THE Bungle album. Only avant-garde music snobs would say something like that. And I guess they're entitled to their opinions too.

Desert Search for Techno Allah is awesome. As is Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz.

Those are the only two songs on the album that really do it for me, although if I'm in the right mood I sometimes also enjoy "The Bends".
