I saw the Aquabats this December and it was one of their "Holiday Jubilee" shows so they ended with a great cover of Madonna's "Holiday." Yeah it was weird, but it was an Aquabats show so it was hardly the weirdest thing I saw that night.

Patrick Wolfs covers of Afraid and Ari's Song both originally by Nico are beautiful. Granted Nico sucked to begin with so its not that hard to top the originals, but he made them amazing songs.

Clayhill's version of PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, LET ME GET WHAT I WANT from the THIS IS ENGLAND soundtrack is sublime.

^I really don't think NOFX covered Gin and Juice. You're most likely referring to the Berlin Project's ska version (which I think I might've mentioned in this thread).

Next time don't use limewire or any P2P program. They always get artists wrong, especially with covers. Although Fat Mike's voice is distinctive enough that it shouldn't be hard to tell its not them.

Speaking of NOFX and covers, I think their cover of Last Caress is pretty neat because of the ska part.

no. If we are talking about the same song I can't honestly see how anyone could think its Sublime.

Trust me, its the Berlin Project.

kind of reminds me of how some bluegrass band called the Gourds did a cover of (ironically enough) Gin and Juice and everyone thinks Phish did it.

That's what I get when I assume things. Good song none the less.
