"Knockin' on Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan, covered by Guns n' Roses
"99 Red Balloons" by Nena, covered by Goldfinger
"Everlasting Love" by ????, covered by U2
"Hurt" by Johnny Cash, covered by Nine Inch Nails

Then I was at the Oasis and Jet concert last year, and Oasis did a kickass live cover of The Who's "My Generation"

??? Wrong way around man, but just imagine a NIN version of Folsom Prison Blues! I'd love to hear him scream "I shot a man in Rino, just to watch him die" That'd be ace.

Johnny Cash gave passion and depth to an originally annoyingly whiny and bitchy song. I don't understand why people even like NIN's version.

That is a great one.

Foo Fighters have a couple:
"Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty
"Have A Cigar" by Pink Floyd covered with Brain May from Queen on the Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack

and Red Hot Chili Peppers have a few:
"Fire" by Jimi Hendrix
"Higher Ground" by Stevie Wonder
I love in concert when they play part of "Your Gonna Get Yours" by Public Enemy as a lead in to "Give It Away".
and I'm probably the only person on Earth that likes it, but their cover of "Love Rollercoaster" by K.C. and the Sunshine Band

I much prefer the cover of that song that Primus did. In fact, the version of "Have A Cigar" that you're talking about is the only one I've heard that I really dislike. Sorry to say it, but I think anything any member from Queen has ever done makes me want to choke on my own vomit. If someone finds something done by a member of Queen that doesn't make me want to do that, please let me know about it.

Oh yeah. I have that video on DVD. Primus does some other good covers. They do good covers of "Constantinople", "Hello Skinny", and "Sinister Exaggerator" all by the Residents and a good covers of "Behind My Camel" by the Police and "Silly Putty" by Stanley Clarke. Check out their album Rhinoplasty and their EP Miscellaneous Debris; they're both full of great covers.
