Time to revive this thread. If you are going to cover a song then at least put an original spin on it and make it your own. If it is like for like then what is the point? I have a spotify playlist of cover versions that is up to around 60 tracks with tracks that I like in the first place and one of the best things is asking a friend to name that track! Here are a few that require inspection:

I'm going to toss in a vote for Lola, originally by the Kinks, covered by the Raincoats.

I barely even like the original song, but the cover is one of my favorite songs...

Makes it easier to search thread if you list song title and artist outside YT link.
