One of my absolute all-time favorites. Stephen Colbert covering Elvis Costello with Costello on guitar. Cheap Reward.

^I love how Tommy Rogers can pull off a Queen song and then turn around and do this. I wish he would sing more in BTBAM though cause I feel like his clean voice kind of goes to waste, since he rarely uses it.

As for Tommy Rogers vocals ... I might have to disagree just a little bit. I like that he doesn't sing too much. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it's just enough for a progressive metal band. If I do want to hear him sing more, I just pop in the cover album. He sings quite a bit on there. Though I enjoy them, the vocals aren't my favorite part of their music. I find myself repeatedly impressed with Blake Richardson. The drums on Alaska and Colors are nearly perfect. Witnessing him in action on the stage is even more entertaining. |
