Don't know if it's been brought up but I've always loved the Damned's cover of the Stooges 1970. It really captures that punk energy and the drumming is great cymbal smashing.

Hey, I've heard that! I quite enjoyed that cover.... actually I liked it a whole ton better than the original which just plain annoys the hell outta me...

I have the live record they talk about in the beginning, and I felt pretty special when I heard what they said about the version of the River on there, which I totally identify with.

Pretty much this girl does the most beautiful covers I have ever heard. Maynard and Adam Jones of Tool have both often featured her videos in their blogs/ MySpace pages.
