Default Wait.........(you mean those are the lyrics?)

I used to be really bad at discerning lyrics, and here are a couple of the songs I got confused
not sure band-Don't Bring me Down-

It sounds like it says, 'don't bring me down............Bruce'
which can't be right

Godsmack-Voodoo
The words are
I'm not the one whose so far away
when I feel the snake bite enter my veins
to me it sounds like
Down by the river, so far away,
When I feel the snake bite enter my brain

Sheryl Crow-All I wanna Do
Until the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard,
I always thought it was-
Until the sun comes up over Sann Monna couple of vard (don't ask)

Tool-Aenima
I'll see you down in Arizona Bay,
I though it was
see you down and hell is gonna pay(hmm..)

Rage-Killing in the Name of
Some of those that were forces are the same that bore crosses
I thought-
Some of those that burn forces are the same that burn crosses(what?)

Metallica-Enter Sandman
I thought the words were
Excel lite, and tonight, grain of sand off to never never land
(still not sure what the words are)

Anyway, this is a never ending list, and please add a song to this l.ist that you thought were some goofy lyrics, to find out you were wrong later, so we can have some funny misconceived lyrics, I hope I'm not the only one that hears the words wrong, because I do it almost constantly

Ha, I knew exactly what few lines of a song to post when I saw the title of this thread.

My Morning Jacket - Into the Woods

"A Kitten On Fire. A Baby In A Blender.
Both Sound As Sweet As A Night Of Surrender."

"A Good Showerhead And My Right Hand
The Two Best Lovers That I Ever Had.
Now If You Find You Agree With What I Just Said,
You'd Better Find A New Love
And Let 'Em Into Your Head."

It's just so bizarre. It doesn't match the soft droning music at all.

That's by E.L.O. and the real lyrics are "Dont bring me down, grroosss."

And I always thought it was "Bruce" too!

...And R.E.M.s Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight did my head in for ages.

This bit in particular..."Call me when you try to wake her up, call me when you try to wake her"...I used to think it had summat to do with Jamaica!

ACDC has a lyric with lightning struck, or thunder, or something like it in it.

I kept on hearing SAAAANDERRR! Which was my boyfriends name at that moment. I listened to the song a lot back then.
