You mentioned liking Mike Patton earlier. Do you like the first Fantomas album? If you do, you'd almost definitely like The Locust. They're like the first Fantomas album with very strange synthesizers thrown into the mix.

I get my weird music through listening to Stuart Maconie's Freak zone on bbc5music sunday afternoons.
Just to show how far out it is he once had s Metal machine music as his 'featured album' Last week was a particularly good one. He played Anamanaguchi
