Default Real Music for Kids??? PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello Everyone!

This is my first post on this forum.
OK, here's the problem...

My neice just turned 6 years old. She LOVES music, and she just got her first CD boom-box for her birthday.

She does not like stuff like "Kidz-Bop" where the music has been re-recorded as a children's song. She wants the "real thing".

So I'm trying to compile a list of CD's that a child would like and hit the used-CD store.

So far I've got The Shrek and Shrek 2 soundtracks, also i think the Madagascar soundtrack.
I also think she will like Sarah McLachlan Surfacing, and Bob Marley's best-of CD. I think maybe some Smashmouth and John Mayer's first one.
Probably also some disney-type Hip Hop like A-teens or something.

SOOO....

What other CD's (Artist and specific album if possible) are appropriate for a little kid that loves real music, not that cheesy made-for-kids stuff???

THANKS!

Ramones - S/T
Frank Zappa - Apostrophe/Overnight Sensation
Nick Drake - Pink Moon
The Smiths - The Queen is Dead
The Clash - London Calling
The Kinks - Village Green Preservation Society
The Buzzcocks - Singles Going Steady

It's never too early to fight bad taste!

Maybe an Elton John compilation.
I also think the Bob Marley is a really good...rastaman vibrations type stuff...just a good happy time. 6 yr olds dig that stuff.
