Also, I'm not really sure how we'd go about doing uploads, but if it's at all possible, I'm definitely up for doing some uploads. If you know how I'd go about doing uploads, send me a message. I'm not educated in such an art just yet.

1. If you're into No Wave then i'd say you'd definitely like Arab on Radar. As for Jandek, I'm not sure since I have no idea what you're into. His music is pretty unclassifiable, and most people seem to either love or hate it, with not much middle ground. He's an enigmatic guy, read some of this for more:
Jandek - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

2. As for uploads, we'd upload albums to something like sendspace or megaupload, post the links here, and people could download them. Great way to check out new music. Check out "the sharing thread" at the top of the general music forum for an idea of how this works.

I generally tend to have a liking for anything that's different than most other things, if that helps you on if you'd think I'd like Jandek or not. But I'll check out Arab On Radar for sure.

Thanks for the upload advice. I've never really bothered to check out that thread, so maybe I will now.

Yeah man. I've been getting into some krautrock lately myself, especially Neu!, Can, and Guru Guru (I'm not quite sure if Guru Guru are considered krautrock though.)

Alright, I uploaded "Main Titles (God In Three Persons)" by The Residents, which I think is a nice avant-garde song. I hope I did this right... Main Titles (God In Three Persons)

Here's what I think is a good example of no wave. This song is "Horse" by DNA. Again, I don't know if I did this right. Horse

White Lies 04-18-2007 05:09 AM

yeah you did them fine. I have that DNA song, but I'll check out The Residents, thanks.

change 'x' to 't'.

This is like the most important No Wave album, so if you ain't got it - get it!

I have that one. It's excellent. If anybody else likes to listen to something different AND AWESOME, check this out.

Here's an Arab on Radar upload, for those who want to check them out.
