Down to the nitty gritty.
Despite my love for the White Stripes and my respect for the music and the man that is Bob Marley, neither compare to the legend and the living God that is David Bowie.
His music is varied and timeless, creative and innovative and sounds as fresh as it did when it was first released.
As strong as the names on this list are...Bowie by a mile.

I love Bowie and I love Floyd, but I had to go with Floyd because of the album "Dark Side of the Moon." That album is just pure craftsmanship.

also if people could pick songs for the recommendations bit on the myspaces for me to add that'd be great too it would be nice if people listened to at least one song before judging.
