Video Discussion
The Game: I'm going to post a video link below and leave it up for roughly a week. They will all be YouTube videos so that everyone (or most everyone) can can have access to them. Every week I'll delete all the comments and post a new video. You can discuss any aspect of the video, and of course if it leads to digressions, thats even better, so longs as we're talking.
Mod: I was going to Sticky this but I thought "if it sucks then it should disappear, we shouldn't ram the idea down throats... This weeks Video - Prince's Halftime Show: YouTube - Prince-halftime show

I think the guy is f*cking awesome. And his last album was his best in years.
It's a shame he won't be truely appreciated for his talents for 2 reasons.... 1. He doesn't play rock or metal. 2. He's not dead yet.

I went to the "subliminal message" video on the sidebar after watching the video. WTF were the light messages that were claimed as existing? I'm not really into all that new age crap, so maybe that's why I didn't get it. But if someone would explain the hidden message stuff I would be very appreciative.

You can't believe everything that you read. It was supposed to be a moonanite from ATHF.
The guitar solo at the end of that song might be some of the best guitar playing I've ever seen.

Jolene
One I included two because of the amazing bias I'm going to have here, and on top of that the on going war about both of these bands ahving no redeeming qualities made me think that we really out to feature them in a live setting just to show the youngin's that their bands are complete crap.

'One' is epic. But i think your whole criticism of todays music is a tad harsh. A lot of stuff at the moment is garbage but theres a lot of good stuff being produced now that we're gonna look back at in 15 years and think 'ah they were the good old years' once everybody has gone to playing dustbins......thats a prediction
