Lloyd Cole and the Commotions - 'Rattlesnakes'
Lloyd Cole and the Commotions - 'Mainstream'

Simply Red - 'A New Flame'
Elkie Brooks - 'The Very Best Of' *free with my first ever CD player
Swing Out Sister - 'Kaleidoscope World' *even I don't know how this got in my collection.

Come on over- Shaniah Twain...she was hot when I was 12 :(

Inuzuka Skysword 04-08-2007 06:33 AM

Warbreed is the only band I am ashamed of to have in my library. You can download their EP for free, legally, at their home site.

Hmmm...I don't think I'm totally embarrassed of any CD I bought, but I'll just mention that I have Destiny's child (two of them in fact, good dance music yo ;)), Sting (because of Desert rose, alas a one trick pony... very expendable), Santana (I hated Maria, but loved Smooth, now I can't stand to look at the CD, it makes me wanna vomit), TLC (I forget what song I liked, it was the one with the video of the chicks silicones falling out, anyway it was cool for a while), I have an Offspring album that was given to me but I literally never opened it (it was around the time they got really popular with the "pretty fly for a white guy" stuff, but unfortunately the person that gave it to me bought the wrong album), I have Californication by RHCP that also makes me wanna vomit now, but to be fair, Scar tissue is still a good song...hmmm...ohyah, and that Tom Jones album when he had a major come back with the cover of "Burning down the house", also haven't listened to it in years, but I still kinda think it's alright, one of the best cover/collaborations albums out there...too bad it makes me wanna hurl when I look at it aye...?

Jet - Get Born / Vines - Highly Evolved , I promised myself this would be the last time I ever bought an album on record company hype.

The Darkness - Permission To Land , I loved their first single when I heard it. I thought it was the funniest thing i'd ever heard. Then I realised they were totally serious :(

I also have the same Offspring album as Adidasss as a result of a mad weekend in Amsterdam where that song was played constantly in ever bar we went into.

Oh and I have a Johnny Thunders tribute album with songs recorded by a bunch of people I have never even heard of.

Edit: I should also really admit to owning a copy of Spiceworld The Movie on video , because at the time I owned every movie Richard E Grant had appeared in ,so I was kinda forced into getting this one :o:

Urban Hat€monger ? 04-08-2007 07:54 AM

Oh and a friend of mine at work gave me a disc full of games.
When I installed it I found buried in the files The Very Best Of Joan Armatrading

DidierD 04-08-2007 08:12 AM

I still have Spice Girls 'Wannabee'......hands up, who else has it!?

adidasss 04-08-2007 04:40 PM

Em....I don't think I was ever that lame...lol!

The Unfan 04-08-2007 04:54 PM

I'm not embarrassed by anything in my collection.

Spice World is still a funny movie.

Raine 04-08-2007 06:05 PM

Britney Spears - Toxic (Single)
Backstreet Boys - Backstreets Back

it gets more embarassing than that but those are the only ones I'll own up to. :pimp:

cocainepallor 04-09-2007 04:17 AM

I have a signed, limited edition, proper "rare" first EP of...Linkin Park. from back in my early teenage minimosher days. worst thing about it is me and my best friend sat up till about 4am UK time, waiting for the fan club to officially open in the American time zone...just so we could join in the first 50 people and get our free EP.
I wish I could erase being 15 from my memory.

no past tense.

i think, my most embarassing is.. oh god, i have a scooter album somewhere in the depths of my cupboard.
THAT was a gift.
which kinda makes it a bit less embarassing, but still..

most "embarassing" that i bought myself is prolly hanson.
but i still listen to that :]

Kevorkian Logic 04-09-2007 04:58 PM

We listened to spice girls today in study hall, and sang along, even the guys.

I have a Britney Spears cd.

itoldyouso 04-09-2007 07:38 PM

I'm not really embarrassed of anything in my collection. I'm well aware of how terrible some of the things that I like are... oh well. (:

Because he writes shite lyrics and he's a pretentious twat.

The Dave 04-10-2007 12:58 PM

I have a couple of Chevelle albums, a Slipknow album (I liked Vermillion Part 2 for some reason), I have From under The Cork Tree and I too have Brand New Day by Sting because Desert Rose is a great song, and there was one other song I liked on that album as well.

just for kicks 04-11-2007 07:44 AM

i have a will smith album somewhere for my childhood. i used to think he was the best rapper ever

AnastasiaBeaverhousen 04-12-2007 04:10 PM

I have one of Rod Stewart's CDs from his Songbook collection. I don't know, Jazzy Blues looks weird on Rod. It creeps me out. I prefer his "Do you think I'm sexy" creepiness.

TheUsedToolguy 04-14-2007 03:58 PM

I've been going through this weird Rod Stewart phase where I freakin' love every song of his I hear on the radio. I don't remember ever liking him before, but dude's got a good style.
