Default Leeds/Reading Festival 2007

Anybody thinking of going?

I'm going to try and get a ticket for Leeds as Glastonbury is in the middle of my college. Tickets on sale tomorrow at 7pm with the line up announced 15 mins before. Smashing Pumpkins, Razor****e, NIN and Red Hot Chili Peppers almost certainly gonna be there. I'm more interested in the Sonic Youth rumour going around though, would be awesome to see them at Leeds then a week later in London performing Daydream Nation. Never been to a festival before so I don't want to leave it too late.

but i obviously dont know which day yet, seeing as the lineups mostly rumours right now.
prolly end up going for whichever day patrick wolf is playing.
depending on if he actually IS or not.
but yes.
i wanna go for the whole thing.
festivals seem way fun.
but i am broke. so one day it is =]

yeah exactly.
with one day, you prolly only get about 20% of the actual experience.
all the crap happens at night anyway.
blah. someone donate me money..

Never cared much for NIN or RHCP. If Sonic Youth do go then that may swing it for me but at the moment I might just save my cash and spend it on a couple of days at Wireless (White Stripes/QotSA/Editors +more) instead.

Im absolutely devestated, lineup just got announced and its amazing but i'm skint so gonna have to wait for a few weeks till pay day to attempt to get one at a half decent price..boo...been for the last 5 years and its the best experience of my life guys its awsome...you only got 10% if you go for a day, camping is wicked....except when it chucks it down and ure completely unprepared

Looking at the lineup, I don't really think it's that awesome and I don't particulalry envy my friends who got tickets like I thought I may have done. Would perhaps like to see KOL and Arcade Fire, but meh... they play other places. There's not much point going to a festival to see two bands.

Is that the complete line-up, or are there more details to be released in the future?

I might go for the camping/drinking and drugs...not for the music...The line up is worse than ever (Apart from Nine Inch Nails...)

There's loads more bands to be announced. Probably about 75 more across about 5 stages
