I think this has been the hardest choice for me so far.
I want to vote Flaming Lips...that was my gut feeling, despite Radiohead, but VU's history and influence can't be ignored.
And Sweet Jane is one of my all time favourite songs.
Velvet Underground.

No band I like but I pick Velvet Underground because they are the only one I know.

normally I probably would have gone for Tool, but i'm so sick of them and all these bands getting worse as time progresses. 10,000 Days was so mediocre in my opinion, just commercial and boring.

Maybe the wrong word, but I just think they settle for good instead of great. I found there rifts old and repetative and too many ambient songs. Occasionally there would be 30 seconds of amazingness, but I would have to sit through a good 5 minutes of song to get to those parts.

It was just less creative than any other of there previous albums, and honestly I think they should have just broken up after their 4 cd hot streak. Because this album was basically all there old songs recycled and remixed.

I refuse to vote. Can't choose between Lips, Radiohead and velvet.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.
