I actually really, really love this song. the lyrics, the way she sings it.. it just fit with a point in my life.. its a country song... and i think its a rather damn good one.. but then again faith hill the past few years has been pop/country.. i dunno!
Faith Hill - Cry If I had just one tear running down your cheek Maybe I could cope maybe I'd get some sleep If I had just one moment at your expense Maybe all my misery would be well spent Yeah.... Could you cry a little Lie just a little Pretend that you're feeling a little more pain I gave now I 'm wanting Something in return So cry just a little for me If your love could be caged, honey I would hold the key And conceal it underneath the pile of lies you handed me And you'd hunt those lies They'd be all you'd ever find And that'd be all you'd have to know For me to be fine Yeah.... And you'd cry a little Die just a little and baby I would feel just a little less pain I gave now I'm wanting Something in return So cry just a little for me Give it up baby I hear your goodbye Nothins goin save me I can see it it your eyes Some kind of heartache Darlin give it a try I dont want pity I just want what is mine Yeah... Could you cry a little Lie just a little Pretend that your're feeling a little more pain I gave now I'm wanting Something in retrun So cry just a little for me Yeah... Cry just a little for me woo ooo, could you cry a little for me yeah, yeah |

"You could set my truck on fire and roll it down a hill
And I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe DeVille" ...WOW! The state of popular country music is..well, sad really...

I've heard this song and I gotta say that it was freakin hilarious. My friends and I were making up so many jokes about it because it was so funny.
"She thinks my tractor's sexy, she thinks my tractor's sexy, and it turns her on!" Just a weird thing to say in a song even for country. |

I think Elvis Costello said it best that country music has been reduced to Journey with cowboy hats and southern accents.

You can always tell someone who thinks their **** doesn't stink. You know every genre has equally moronic lyrics? Just because you clowns think your lives suck and that as you get older its just a depressing black spiral doesn't mean that nu-metal lyrics (or any metal for that matter) are any better.
If I were facist, I'd delete the thread because it just seems like spam.
