it's takes more skill to leave the space between 4 notes per bar than it does to fill that bar with never ending arpeggios.

All of the bassists I know personally can play both bass and guitar.

I'm a bass player, I dabble in the guitar, but it's just not nearly as fun as the bass either.

While Flea is still my favourite, I don't think anyone can deny the greatness of Jaco. This never fails to blow my mind.
And I'll leave this thread open since we don't have a General best bassist thread outside the muso section. |
