Why would ANYONE want to nominate Nirvana?

Why shouldn't they?

Voted for Ruf, but I barely like any of these bands, bad poll for me.

Nominating Nirvana as best band is the equivalent to nominating Olive Garden as the best Italian restaurant.

A dominating 8 person count says nominating Nirvana in the first place is a better decision than nominating any of the other 4 bands in the first place.

And it is first round, they aren't best band yet.

WHOA WHOA WHOA THIS isn't BEST band anymore. I think it's funny that this is the first time you complain about the BEST band - so many other BEST bands have been screwed out of the BEST band title. But this isn't the BEST band anymore... it's favorite.

Would someone get this kid a look-at-me sandwich, he's clearly attention starved.

I mean, do you really expect me to believe you can't fathom why anyone would nominate Nirvana? Jesus man, just say you don't like them, but to feign perplexity at a band getting nominated.

I'd just like to mention now that I don't understand why people like Rufus Wainwright.
