Guy needs a filter and a good producer but man! can that guy play - pretty much anything he wants to. With ridiculously insane technique.

I imagine if bands deserve to be erased from rock history it will kind of happen naturally. Although if my kids are anything to go by rock history won’t even be a thing. In a meme-driven culture anything older than a month is strictly taboo unless it’s resurrected ironically in another peer-approved meme.

We still remember Bach. Over time rock’n’roll will be remembered as a guitar centered musical movement defined by the contributions of Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, and Sonic Youth.

Second half 20th C pop music will obviously be defined by the Beatles. 200 years from now knowing more than that will only be for people with very extensive knowledge of music history.

Jam Master Jay will over time be considered the most important hip hop artist.
