I could never stand to meet him knowing who he was, I'd say all the wrong things... impossible to get into the 'just talking to a normal human being who's created some art I really like' mode.

And you know he wouldn't be talking about pink bubble marga-fish cobbling the vacant socks under marbled tentacles... the Captain would probably just want a green tea and a nice chat about abstract expressionism. Or trouts.
