Naa i didn't, it didn't really do much for me although the second video i remember did remind me of the Eels in the strangest way for some reason?

As for 'Princess', hmm. Of course you could always argue that there isn't really such a thing as a true eccentric, just weird people who want to be seen that way, and i think maybe she fits that criteria.

But yeah, you found some good nutters there Zoon

How about A Fierce Pancake by Stump? (they do have traces of beefheart)
But don't have your hopes high yet though. Some of you might consider it 'shit' and others will be like what the fuck. Their singer sure does have mental illness .

Charlton Heston

Chaos

Buffalo (I know, I just blew my compilations cover but what the heck )

I wouldn't mind hearing that C86 tape. Been trying to find it for sometime now.

How about Carl Stephenson, the mastermind behind Forest for the Trees and producer of Beck's Mellow Gold? His stuff is fairly poppy but he is certainly a very eccentric person and has apparently spent quite bit of time in mental institutions.

Take The Pills! - indie, pop, blog!

it's a cassette rip, obviously. If you haven't got it i suggest you get the 2-disc 'CD86' which came out a couple of years ago, it's all over the web I imagine.

Damn forum needs a C86 thread

That was quick. But the file has been deleted though . I suppose I'll just go hunt it down. Just need to look harder.

What about Thinking Fellers Union Local 282?? It seems that people have neglected to mention them as weird...

Just finished watching this a few minutes ago. It's enough to make me wanna hunt down at least a few more of his albums.

I think I said earlier in this thread I've only got Trout Mask Replica (which I'm giving another spin at the minute). I'm thinking Safe As Milk or Iced Cream For Crow next.
