Id would say that everything Ive posted here so far is a must listen and just because Mojo or Rolling Stone don't think so doesnt make me feel any different.

If we're just going to go with established 'classics' we may as well just skip all this altogether and sit around discussing the merits of this.
The biggest problem with that list is its totally obvious.

Since Superfly has already been mentioned twice (By both Urban and I) I think it should probably be on the list. There are only a few soul albums that are as cohesive and original as Mayfield's classic.

I dunno know about everybody else...but not that I've thought about it, I think it may be best to exclude records made after 2000. I think we need the perspective granted by time to consider anything a true classic. Of course, exceptions could be made if someone presented their case really really well.
