Just like I obviously hate all hip hop because I don`t like 50 Cent or Eminem and I probably hate all guitar music because I hate Muse & Coldplay.

Townes Van Zandt - Live at the Old Quarter
This double CD live album is generally considered to be his best work as it features great performance of most of his best compositions up to that point. Contains great songs like "Pancho & Lefty" and "White Freight Liner Blues."

Grace - Jeff Buckley (I don't really listen to him, so i'm not going to judge) Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd (I find Animals and The Wall better than Dark Side of the Moon. I initially liked the slowness of it, but I often find myself getting a bit bored by the end of Dark Side of the Moon. Animals is just a classic and the lyrics and guitar in The Wall just is superior than those in Dark Side of the Moon) To Venus and Back - Tori Amos Ten - Pearl Jam Rain Dogs - Tom Waits Murder Ballads - Nick Cave Little Creatures - Talking Heads Pretty Hate Machine - NIN DeLoused in the Comatorium - The Mars Volta Dry - PJ Harvey OK Computer - Radiohead (the cause of the list. Just ignorant to put down) Agaetis Byrjun - Sigur Ros King For a Day - Faith No More ..........And Justice For All - Metallica Pearl - Janis Joplin / Big Brother & the Holding Company Post - Bjork Brothers in Arms - Dire Straights Dirt - Alice in Chains Smells Like Children - Marilyn Manson On Stage at Chastain Park - James Brown Badmotorfinger - Soundgarden De Stijl - The White Stripes Songs of Love and Devotion - Depeche Mode Blindmelon - Blindmelon Bayou Country - CCR Eddie and the Cruisers - Soundtrack Tales From Urban Bohemia - The Dandy Warhols Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain - Pavement (This cd is again, like most of the other cds you have picked, their most commercial success. Although I like a good number of the songs on that album, it lacks the same influence from The Fall that their first album, Slanted and Enchanted has) Piano Man - Billy Joel Lies - Guns 'n' Roses Jesus Christ Superstar - Original Soundtrack Waiting For the Sun - The Doors At The Mountains of Madness - Blackfeather Don't Say No - Billy Squier Blues Brothers - Soundtrack Fireball - Deep Purple Monster - REM Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash Pump - Aerosmith i'll finish the rest another day. I need to go and do stuff.

I never referred to it as VD either, I have no qualms with the majority of commercial music, in fact 2 of my most played songs on lastfm account are from Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain. I just don't think that it is their most intovative or musically superior album, like most commercial albums. by the way, you might it enjoy reading the main article in Magnet this month, it's on Chan Marshall, I assume from your sn that you like her.
