Townes Van Zandt--most anything recorded "live" at the venue. He was often drunk/high and his demons were on-stage with him. Very real music.
Johnny Cash--the Folsom Prison album. Plus, Cash's last 2-3 albums before his death. For me they're a somber view of life through the words and thoughts of a man who knew he was dying. The Beatles---Abbey Road.
